Hello. My name is Valerie, and I’m am, among other things, a photographer. I live in Northern California with my beautifully crazy family.

I became a photographer because I love the art and science of photography. You see, I’m one of those people…you know, the one who hears both the left and right sides of her brain…constantly! I love the idea of capturing a moment, whether a split second or one that lingers…I love that I can see those moments and share that emotion in a photo.

I became a portrait photographer because I see beauty in everyone. Everyone has that spark, that glimmer in their eye of the beautiful creation they are at their core. Maybe they’ve forgotten. Maybe they just don’t see it. But I see it, and it is my greatest joy to show it to them…to you!
